Well, I've gone from being the know-all, be-all, go-to technology nerd in my school to being the newest consultant in Edmonton Public Schools Emerging Technology. While the nerd part still fits, I'm now a little fish in a big new pond. The good news is I like my little office, and I like my office mates. I like that my time time to think about things is not governed by a bell. On the other hand, I do miss kids. A whole lot. I miss geeking out with them about robots, cool apps, neat Web 2.0 sites, and even their games.
I also start my Masters in Educational Technology through the University of British Columbia (UBC) this week. I've never taken an online grad course before and I'm terrified I'm going to forget to submit or attach something. I think it would be quite the embarrassment if the technology consultant can't figure out how to do the internet course. May have to rethink my position in that case...
